Growing for Goodness
At the heart of our Northern California homestead is a simple belief: strong communities grow from local connections. As a woman-owned startup ranch, we are committed to producing fresh food, handcrafted goods, and meaningful opportunities for our community to come together. Through CSA boxes, our farm stand, local farmers' markets, and educational outreach, we strive to make locally grown food more accessible while supporting regenerative agriculture and organic practices. Every seed we plant and every product we create reflects our dedication to stewardship, self-reliance, and community. With the help of grants, donations, and the support of our neighbors, we are building a ranch that serves as both a source of nourishment and a gathering place for generations to come.

The Land
The land we call Fogbreak Ranch sits within the ancestral homeland of the Lassik people, whose connection to these mountains stretches back countless generations. We recognize that we are newcomers in a place with a deep and enduring history, and we approach our role here with gratitude, humility, and respect.
Living on this mountain has taught us that stewardship is not about ownership—it's about responsibility. Each day we work to care for the soil, water, forests, and wildlife that make this place so special, knowing that we are only one chapter in a much longer story. As we continue learning about the history of this place, we hope to listen, learn, and draw inspiration from the knowledge and relationship with the land that Indigenous communities have cultivated over generations.
